Two of our industry veterans, Tracy and Eric, recently completed an intensive training session in Carlsbad, California at the headquarters of Eufora International. They learned systematic techniques for achieving interior shapes through directional and switch layering as well as spherical and vertical cutting. Eric and Tracy returned to Salon Nouveau newly inspired about deepening their mastery in the profession and are applying their new skills to both classic as well as contemporary cuts for their clients. Salon Nouveau is always pleased to help our staff sharpen their professional skills! All of our stylists will receive similar training in early January.

The Copper Cactus Awards are presented to a handful of recipients to honor excellence in small business here in Tucson. We are so proud that we won our award in the community service category! We are also quite humbled, since there are so many local businesses that give back to our community in so many ways and are also deserving of recognition.

This annual awards program began in 1998 and is sponsored by Wells Fargo bank. The Salon Nouveau management team and ourselves attended the awards event and we were all “wowed” by the many great local businesses who participated in the evening. We are pleased that our Tucson salon is able to provide hair, skin and nail services to our family of loyal clients and is also to be able to help our local community as well.

We have been hard at work on our website; constantly evolving ever since the launch of our newly designed site last summer. Our site evolves as our salon evolves… We’ve added new additions to our team of hair stylists, manicurists, and aestheticians. We’ve added a ton of new facial treatments such as the Double Enzyme Facial and the Multi-Vitamin Hydrating Facial, which are just amazing for your skin.  We’ve added a new salon reviews section for our fabulous clientele to share their experiences at our salon.  Our salon newsletter section has recently been updated for easier access, which everyone loves because of our trivia giveaways and great spa tips. We’ve also added more salon product lines, a men’s salon services selection, and a fantastic bunch of express salon services we like to call “mini indulgences” for those of us always on the go.  We have enjoyed creating all of these new products and services for you and we hope you have been enjoying them too!
